Connor Potts - back on top
After a few months off from competing Goole Judo Clubs top fighter is back representing Great Britain in the Junior European Cup Kaunas Lithuania in the 55 kilo category.
Connors first contest was against Robertas Ratkevicus from Lithuania, Connor won the Contest on ten point throw.
Connor lost the second contest against a high ranked Italian Andrea Carlino near the end of the contest on a throw.
Connor went into the repercharge and was up against a German Fabian Haessner and Connor won this contest on a 5 point score to take him to the Bronze Medal contest.
The Bronze medal fight was against a Spaniard Adrian Rodriguez, Bronze for Goole Judo clubs Connor Potts in the European cup in Kaunas Lithuania he throw the Spaniard with a right handed sode suri komi goshi in 20 second's.
This will give Connor World Ranking points leading up to the Junior Europeans & Worlds later in the year.
