Remembering Jeff Brady

Sadly Jeff Brady passed away on 6th August 2021 peacefully after suffering from Parkinsons disease.

Jeff had been coaching for more than 50 years, being one of the foundations when Haltemprice sports centre opened in 1972.

 

 

He touched so many lives in the judo circle, at one time running the Y&H junior squad with great success.

He produced many champions including the latest paralympic Chris Skelley, many of these carrying on to coach in their own clubs.

He served as Chairman of the Y & H committee following Dave Peake.

Larger than life, Jeff made so many judo friends around the country and abroad.

 

 

 

Jeff's funeral will be held at Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby at 1.30pm on Thursday 19th August, followed by a celebration of his life at the Mercure hotel, Willerby.
