On the 13th May 2018 we ran a dan grading at Goole leisure centre.
Take up of the discounted online registration is increasing, once the majority are registering in advance we'll be able to let everyone know in advance of numbers that have pre-booked.
Ladies
There were 5 x 1st kyu ladies who fought one another in a round robin format for points.
Men
1 x 1st dan and 3 x 2nd dan fought one another in a round robin for points. While none reached the 100 required, it's good to see dan grades turning up to compete.
We then had 13 1st kyu men who competed in a traditional 2 of 3 wins to line up format.
2 of the 1st kyu men successfully completed their line up on the day, congratulations to Henry Stables and Josh Harrop.
Thankyous
Gradings cannot be run without the players who made the effort to come to the event, some from quite a distance.
