Ladies
While not as many ladies as gents, we were very pleased to be able to run line ups. 8 1st kyus and a 1st dan.
Special mention due to Eleanor Buckle who succesfully completed her lineup for 1st dan and Hanan Daud who finished the competitive points needed for her 1st dan.
Gents
1st kyu senior men
18 1st kyu senior men took part (not counting the veteran 1st kyu section) and we saw 5 of those complete their line up. Unfortunately none had completed their theory element as yet. One other player managed to complete competitive element of 1st dan requirement without a line.
Congratulations to:
Alex Hartley, Clement Granger, Michel Oyono, Connor Davis and Daniel Seabrook for completing a line up for 1st dan. Also a shout out to Harry Macmillan who came to the grading needing just 10 points, he succesfully completed his point requirement for 1st dan.
1st kyu veteran men
16 players took part, leading to 6 lineups, 4 were completed. One other finished his points collection.
Well done Matt Burley, Andy McAulay, Gareth Cowen, Ellis Hemmings on completing lineups. Also shout out to Neville Flanagan who finished his 100 point collection for 1st dan.
Senior dan grade men
A decent turn out of 12, covering all dan grades 1st - 4th. We tried to give players as many point scoring opportunites as we reasonably could.
Conmgratulations to Cian Maris who collected the last points for his 2nd dan.
Masters dan grade men
14 dan grade veterans men turned out for a brawl. Including 4 x 2nd dan, 2 x 3rd dan and even a couple of 4th dans!
As with the seniuor section we tried to give everyone a good crack at getting poings/ While we couldn't offer lineups this time. 3 players we succesful in completing the points requirement for their respective grades.
To 2nd dan: Rob Jordan
To 3rd dan: Paul Mapplebeck
