Another successful competitive dan grading in York this weekend (9th November 2024) saw over 60 players take to the mat to secure promotion points towards their respective dan grades. Some tough contests in the mix with players from 1st kyu to 4th dan taking part. 1 of those 4th dans managed to complete the points element of his 5th dan.

In 2025 the venue is booked for 8th November. There may also be a similar event in early summer.
