Annual General Meeting (AGM)

If there are any motions/proposals you'd like to see brought up at the AGM, please send them to the area secretary (Alan Stanbra, 4 Charles Close, Skegness. PE 25 2JJ) or via the contact page of this website to be passed on.

If you'd like to nominate someone to stand on the committee, those nominations should also be submitted to the area secretary.

Competition on the 19th June has been cancelled

Unfortunately due a mix up at the sports centre regarding our booking we are forced to cancel the competition on the 19th June.

This is entirely out of our control, very sorry for any disappointment / inconvenience caused.

West Yorkshire county to run training camp in Kendal

We [West Yorkshire] are running a training camp in Kendal on the weekend of 21/22 May 2016 in preparation for the GLASPALAST SINDELFINGEN INTERNATIONAL.
This will be a great weekend for all attending from pre cadets to seniors, more details to follow but to summarise there will be and guest coaches including 7th dan and ex National Coach and Technical Director Seth Birch (others to be confirmed).
 
Workshops will include cutting weight PROPERLY for combat athletes (Seniors Only) together with a judo specific Strength & Conditioning Workshop
Location: Kendal Judo Centre located in the heart of beautiful Lake District 
 
Cost £15 (Price includes food and accommodation for the whole weekend)
 
Please contact me if you are interested or have players who you think should attend (priority will be given to Y&H athletes) 
If you are thinking of entering the 2016 GLASPALAST SINDELFINGEN INTERNATIONAL in June this camp is a must!!!!!!!!!!!
