After decades as a Natoonal B, Dave Dunsford has finally got round to his exams for progression to National A referee.
This is no small achievement, giving up a huge amount of time to attend events but also in studying rules.
Dave will be familiar to many in the area since he moved up from London, he likes to think himself an honorary Yorkshireman even if his accent gives him away!

At the end of June 2024 the North Yorkshire county held their annual festival of Judo.

Danny Kissenisky, head coach of the East Yorkshire Judo Academy (EYJA) has been awarded his 6 th Dan by the British Judo Association.
Danny’s participation in Judo started over forty years ago. He won national and international medals at both junior and senior levels including a silver at the 1992 Commonwealth Championships.
